Glow Worm Primary Tuition - Our Teachers
Meet Lizzy, a primary school teacher with extensive experience of teaching all age groups from 4-11. She's a mum to two teenage girls and has a small backyard farm of four hens, four cats, a guinea pig and a visiting hedgehog! She has a wealth of experience in different primary settings and is experienced and expert at helping pupils with SEND, including Autism, ADHD and behavioural needs. She has also worked as a KS2 SATs marker. She is creative, flexible and fun and she LOVES helping children learn! Her approach combines patience, encouragement, and expertise to foster confidence and a lifelong love of reading in every student she teaches.
Meet Clare - an inspirational teacher who is known for her exceptional standards of learning and her ability to build positive, trusting relationships with children. With over 14 years in senior leadership, including as a Deputy Headteacher, Clare has led Maths, English, Reading, and Phonics across schools. Her expertise and teaching excellence meant she was often seconded to support other schools and work across clusters, helping to raise standards far and wide. Clare is especially passionate about ensuring every child becomes a confident, proficient reader. Parents and colleagues alike describe her as dedicated, knowledgeable, and endlessly supportive.
